Competency Certificates can only be issued by an accredited training institution. (Firearms Control Act, Act 60 of 2000)

Special Asset Protection Services is accredited by the South African Police Service and SASSETA.

Re-Licensing of all Fire arms.

The Fire Arms Control Act, Act 60 of 2000 receives a competency certificate from all licensed fire arm owners with effect from 1 July 2004.
All practical tests take place on SABS approved Shooting Ranges.
Receive the correct Fire Arm Training that complies with the Firearms Control Act (Act 60 of 2000).
